Fulfilment

Today I’m coming to you from a village in the middle of Tanzania. The subject of today’s newsletter is fulfilment.

One of the secrets that I have learned having worked with so many people is that there is definitely a formula to fulfilment. And that formula is go out there and do something from the goodness of your heart and don’t expect anything in return.

About 3 days ago we were visiting an orphanage and we realized these kids didn’t have any beds to sleep in. So we decided to buy a couple of beds which are just down here. In a moment we are about to drop these beds off at the orphanage. They don’t know it’s about to happen so you’re going to see the happiness, gratitude and appreciation these kids have for them.

And I tell you what, I’m a little bit selfish because it’s going to make me feel really good. One of the secrets of being fulfilled is to go out there and solve someone’s problem without expecting anything in return. So the question I have for you is “When are you going to do something out of the goodness of your heart and what is that going to be?”.

Make a list of things that are going to make you fulfilled. And make a list of problems you’re going to solve for people. And as I said, don't ask for anything back.

You just can’t fake the feeling of fulfilment. It can’t be replicated in any way and for me it’s the greatest feeling on earth. Just go out there and serve someone, do something kind and see this feeling you get. There is nothing quite like it.
