How can I track my referrals and affiliates?
Once you join you will be emailed your login details. You can then access the Affiliate Centre which is our platform for our members to view referrals.
How are my referrals linked back to my affiliate code?
After you apply in the form below, you will be provided with your unique affiliate tracking code. When your referrals click your unique link, ANY form they fill in our website is tracked back to you (assuming they are not already on our database). Once the person becomes a referral of yours, then you are associated to that client for life.
Are there any costs associated with joining?
No, it's a one way street where we pay you! There are no upfront fees, ongoing charges or anything else tricky. We value your time and the new clients that you bring to our community.
What is expected of me as a member?
We expect you to support the vision and mission of Authentic Education and always act in an ethical manner.
When do I get paid?
After people complete their course, have fully paid and do not use their satisfaction  guarantee.
We will then contact you for payment to your account.
What do I earn commission for?
Any course over $100. We do not pay commission for 1on1 coaching or physical products like CDs.
For courses created with a 3rd party speaker (eg. Author Express) commission is not paid.
Can I earn commission on my own enrolments?
No, because you can't refer yourself!
What if I refer someone that is already an Authentic Education client or affiliate?
You will only receive commission on new clients you introduce. Therefore, someone that is already on the Authentic Education database will not be eligible to become your affiliate.
I referred people before I joined the affiliate program. Can they become my affiliate now?
The system can only track affiliates using unique codes. So you have to join before referring others. We are not able to backdate referrals made before joining the affiliate program.
I spent alot of time referring someone but they did not use my specific code (or used someone else's link). Can I get them assigned to me?
The short answer is no, because the system needs to be very clear. Otherwise alot of time is spent in grey areas. Therefore, whatever our tracking system shows is final. A more detailed explanation is below:
In order to track your referrals effectively we need to have an automated system that is black and white (without any grey areas).
Most affiliate programs (including ours) tracks clients based on a first referral basis. So whoever is tracked as referring a person first, that's what the system shows.
The keyword here is "tracked". This means the referred person must use your unique affiliate link and register for either a free download or free event on our website. We can't track conversations you've had with them, we can only track the action of people registering with your unique link.
If a computer can't track the referral, then it opens us up to too many time consuming grey areas. Eg. You mention Authentic Education to your friend Jason. If Jason then sees our Facebook ad 1 week later and decides to enrol, he will be tracked in our system as being referred by Facebook (not by you). In this example, Facebook "closed the deal" so to speak.
The reverse is also true. Jason sees a Facebook ad but decides not to enrol. 1 week later Jason as a conversation with you and decides to use your unique link to enrol. The system will track you as the referrer (not Facebook)
Why is commission paid AFTER the person I referred completes their course?
Just in case they use their 100% satisfaction guarantee.
What are the pros and cons of receiving commission as "Course Cash" instead of regular money?
You don't have to decide each month how you want to use your commissions. You can save them up indefinitely and decide later.
Course Cash is calculated at 15% instead of 10% of the purchased course (ex GST of the course price).
Receiving it in cash means you will be taxed at your normal income tax rate. Using Course Cash means you don't pay any tax because the FULL amount is deducted from your course.
Course Cash cannot be transferred to another person.
